Sorry you missed us. Make sure that you stop by the barn next year. I would love to meet you.
We had a blast. We missed two years but hopefully the Peruvians will be back for good. We were at Horse-A-Rama, in Manitowoc last year but…"
"Awesome! I have attended the Midwest Horse Fair for many, many years and most often there are no Peruvian Horses to be found. I always thought the Paso Fino breed was well represented and promoted and know people would be excited to see and learn…"
Hi Debbie, many thanks for your comment on our pictures. Yes Tambopampa is a combined word we invented. At Inca epoch, "Tambo" was the quechua name used for the houses or space constructed on all the roads, to permit to the Inca and Inca troops to have a space for sleep, eat, etc. "Pampa" is the name for "plain" like there is a lot of in south coastal desert. So we combined the two, the first one for our hospitality, our camps in the desert during the rides, the second one for the landscape of the desert and the first territory of Paso horses.
Bests ! Vanessa
Yes, it was such a fun time! I am glad I was able to come too! Julio is so funny! He likes that Barrida! LOL!!
How was the Dells? Good and hot outside so I bet the water was great! When is the next meeting? I will try to get over there for it so we can all chat again!!
Talk to you later,
It is great to hear from you, I hope you are doing well! Thanks for the wonderful comment about the site, we are so happy to be growing and attracting members from all around the world! Lately I haven't been able to devote as much time as I would like to the site (day job!), but I am finally almost ready to launch a new directory with classified ad system...so new things are coming soon.
Glad you messaged! It has been a while. Time seems to fly nowadays! I am having a garden again this year so my kitchen is full of seedlings! Some of my tomato plants are going to start flowering pretty soon so the weather needs to cooperate so I can get them in the ground!
I will try to post pics of the new filly today! Our next foal is due first of July but this particular mare has been having her babies 3 weeks early the last two years & she LOOKS like she is going to do the same again! She is all bagged up and huge!
We took Oro over to Rita's today so he is back on the other side of the state again to breed some mares over there. I am planning on being at the trail ride on June 5&6, but think I work the 13th...can't remember off the top of my head. Are you coming to the trail ride? The girls want to ride too so we will all be there! I am so excited that Holly is finally getting into horses too! She still loves her kitty Nala the best though & Nala had three kittens last night so Holly is super happy today!
I am so glad you are enjoying Rico!! It would be great to ride together! If you ever get over to this area you'll have to be sure to stop in!
Talk to you soon!
Oh, Say hi to Pat for me too! Hope she is having fun with her mare!
Hope the turkey turned out well! :-) I am sooo glad to hear Rico is doing so well! Julio would love to ride him now that he's his normal self again! He is such a special horse! After everthing he went through and he still gave it his all when asked...that is the true brio and what endears this breed to me even more! How is the old man, Obelisco, doing?Hope all is well!
I will look forward to having you come for a visit in the spring!
Talk to you later!
