It's been wahile since I have been in the horse world, but now being retired, (and after a heart-attack) I want to ride again. Friends have told me that the PP are the most gentle horses around. What a bummer about the vet in your area. I know there are some in our area too that I will not let touch my horses cuz they are so nervous they make my normally quiet horses nervous even. But I am fortunate to have a local clinic with one vet who is Fabulous with my horses, and all my animals actually! I hope you can find a brave vet soon so you can get to riding!! :-)
Talk to you soon!
How is your mare doing? Isn't this warmer weather great?!!We had our first baby April 10th and the next one is due mid-May, then 2 in July. Such fun!! :-) Hope to see you at a club meeting soon!
Sorry it took me so long to respond. I don't get on my pc much. Congratulations on your purchase! Please tell more about her, where you plan on riding etc. I also belong to NSGHC, so I am sure we will meet. I have PP's, standard bred (rides and drives), mustang and a curly at my place. I like to trail ride and camp. I have 2 teen age boys.
congratulations on your Peruvian Horse! I have 2 and fell in love with this breed. I live in the Green Bay area, and belong to the Northstar Gaited Horse Club also. The clubs have been great to connect with other people and learn more about the breed. Hopefully you'll consider joining.
congrats again! Jenna
