So, I found an incredible set just 1 1/2 hours away.  I now have everything for upcoming show season, except the hat and the scarf (I have the whites and also some nice ponchos).  I need about a size…Continue

About Vista: Vista del Dragon is a 2006 Registered mare. She is going well under saddle, and has done many parades, shows, exhibitions and demos. We have had fun trail riding and horse camping in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I am learning that Vista has quite remarkable old bloodlines. From her sire, she is a granddaughter of Soberano++ (*Piloto and *Soberana de Cayalti), and great-granddaughter of *Altivo+++ (Caramelo and Divisa, and *Norbo and *Juanita). From her dam, she is a *Lindero++ granddaughter (*AEV Regional++, Sol de Oro V and Sultana).

We have been involved in the Joy of Riding program with NAPHA and have reached well over 250 hours of riding time in our first year. We are working towards High Point Horse in Exhibition, Parade, and Open Show (we made Honorable Mention in our first year!)

Vista's sire, Altivo Imprevisto, is 3X NAPHA National High Point Exhibition Horse, and 2X National Reserve High Point Parade Horse of the Year. He was also the 2009 Reserve Champion Amateur Performance Stallion at the Colorado Celebration. In 2007, he was the Champion Performance Horse, Reserve Champion in Gait, and Grand Champion Peruvian Horse of Show at the FOSH National Championship Horse Show. In 2005, Altivo was 1st place in Champagne Class (while still in bosal), 1st place in Bosal, and Reserve Champion Junior Stallion at the 27th Annual Rocky Mountain PP Club Regional Championship. In 2004, he was Reserve Champion Junior Colt at the RMPPC.

About Cadencia:  ERB Cadencia de Acierto is a registered mare (PC Acierto X Dichosa ERB).  Gorgeous bay with magnificent gait!

Hi Lisa-

Tech support was able to get your page back up.  They said sometimes apps added to pages can cause this issue.  They are working on a fix for this.  Sorry for the down time your page experienced.  If you ever experience any other issues on the site, please let me know, and we will take care of it right away.

Yeah he seems to be filling out everywhere EXCEPT on top. Do you have any suggestions for that?

He's doing a lot better, still trying to fill in his topline but hes not ribby anymore. He's a funny boy, he has his days where he really wants my attention and days where he could give a flip. lol. My friend just got a place of her own for her horses so I am moving Nevado over there this weekend. I think he will be a lot happier. Hoping to be able to ride him in the next few weeks! I can't wait. He's finally getting to where he is gaiting properly again, he was in such poor shape that his gait was all wonky. Now he's collecting himself nicely and doing a proper paso llano. He needs a bath, we had a bit of rain and I think he tried to lay in the muddiest spot. After I get him spiffied up this weekend ill send you some new photos. How's your herd?

Yeppers, I'm a website editor/social media guru for a nonprofit. So weekday activities are out, but if I get enough notice for a weekend, I can probably do something fun. October is full of travel, but if the weather is still good in November, I'd love to schedule a nice trail ride.

Sorry to hear that. Club or no club, please stay in touch and enjoy your horses. Fall is my FAVORITE time up here -- best riding weather all year!

Yikes! I don't check this page often enough. Are you guys doing any trail riding this fall? Any chance you want to come to the club meeting Nov. 6?

It is a 4 year colt, his name is Crisanthemo. This picture was shot during a 4 hour ride by Chilca´s valley 60 km south Lima. I like him very much, he is very smooth but needs more training because he still gets very nervous when we go out.

He is on his way! Should be here tomorrow. It's been a nightmare. The shipper had a coolant leak in the truck that set them back a day. But hes in route, can't wait for him to be home.
