Thank you Linda, for your reply on my blog page re: DSLD. It is such a grinding thing to contend with, and hopefully, soon we will have answers to help us all move forward and keep this wonderful breed viable for the future. I love the PP, and will work for it as long as I breathe. I never lose hope that a marker will be found, and then not just the Pp, but all horses so afflicted with DSLD will have a course to chart in eradicating it. It will be a glorious day when it comes! Yes, I'm in Florida all the time. Peter commutes each month for a week to 10 days. We have been traveling quite a bit for Grandkids graduations. Last week-end to Arkansas, this weekend to Missouri, and then the next to NH. Once that is done, I'll be staying put here at the ranch.
