I have owned, ridden, trained, & shown horses all my life. They always unconditionaly love you, no matter what.
I have in the past year fallen in love with the Peruvian Peso, & am in the process of learning all I can about this lovely breed.
I am a:
I would like to meet:
Any Peruvian Peso owners within 200 to 300 miles of Las Vegas.
Yes you did send me your telephone and I believe I sent you mine. I am 67 and still ride Peruvians with the young ones to. I have had 3 surgeries in the past 2 years. The first one was a knee replacement and before the 3 month date of the knee surgery I was riding the mare that I mentioned I just lost. It takes me a lot to keep me off a horse. Kind of like you sound. I miss not having a horse so much now but have to find another one that is in this area and what I can pay for one at this time in my life. But I know if I am patient I will find the right one.
Hope to talk to you soon. Let me know when you will be home and I will call and we can talk about horses.
I don't have a Peruvian right now. I lost my mare to colic during the night about 4 months ago. I am looking for another older Peruvian but have had repairs to pay for on my truck. I hope to have another one within the next year or sooner. I live in town but I am lucky because my exhusband lives in the country on and will keep any horse I have for me and doesn't charge me. I have been looking to find one that I can afford. I have even been looking on the internet for rescued Peruvians. I got my first Peruvian in the summer of 1987 and have had one almost the whole time since then. I see that there is another message from you I am going to read and answer it now.
I would enjoy talking to you about horses. I haven't had a chance to talk to anyone about Peruvians in a long time.To me there is a difference in the Peruvian horse than I haven't seen in any other breed of horse. My phone number is 520-586-2668 and am home most of the time. Give me a call and I will be looking forward to meeting you. I live in Benson which is about 50 miles southeast of Tucson. I don't know if that would be to far for you to come.
Hola Patty, welcome to the PHW. I look forward to meeting you in September. I am happy that you are in love with the peruvian Paso horse. It changed my life and I am sure it will have an impact on yours as well. So don't say I didn't warn you.
