I've only been riding Peruvians for a few years, but am totally converted to their Brio and wonderful gait. And this coming from an owner/lover of Missouri Foxtrotters. I ride with the Horses of Peru Equestrian Drill Team, and love showing off our horses. I hope to get into showing when I become more proficient with my Peruvian riding skills.
I love camping and trail riding in New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

New trail riding buddies and new Peruvian friends of any type.
It was a pleasure to meet you also. Sure would like to come to Texas again. We had so much fun and we met a lot of very nice people. Hopefully next year. Really would like to stay longer next time. There is so much to see and do.
Abby is so pretty. You need to put up some more pictures of her. I really enjoyed hearing about her. She sounds very special. Would be an honor to ride with you. You are very special yourself. Very much enjoyed your company.
No anyone can come- when you sign up if you want to be in a cabin with someone you let them know-it's nothing fancy just 6 or 7 bunks to a cabin and the cost is around $200 a weekend-that includes boarding your horse and three meals a day for you and your room. I know Fiona- isn't she lovely, I took my son's TWH mare there a few times with friends and rode last spring. I can't wait to take "Z" and ride him there. I friend of mine rides with Fiona on Wednesdays and last week she rode there with a woman in her 70's that rode her Peruvian. I am new to Peruvians and i have fallen in love with Z- he has captured my heart. As a matter of fact i had not ridden in 28yrs until 2 yrs ago.
I ride right now in the Conroe- area. I take my horse for training/lessons once a week trying to get him in shape for the trails and me learning to ride peruvians. His name is LLD Zafiro but he had been in a pasture without a job for 2 1/2 years and ls way out of shape. I would love to eventually do parades and trail riding with "Z". We are hoping to do a ladies 3 day retreat in November at Camp Coyote close to the Sam Houston Nat'l forest. They have ladies retreats several times a year and this will be our first, I have heard i's lots of fun. Thanks- let me know if you are ever in the area.
