I was just talking to Missy and looking back on the Peru trip. I have been watching the show also. Its great. We must all go back. This time w/out you know who. How are things? Think about you often. Angelica has been bugging me for a trip back to the ranch for a visit. Its been a long time. I haven't been back to Cali since I left almost 13 years ago or more. Wow too long.

Joy, I was so close to you this week, and yet so far. I didn't know where you were located till I got back home tonight from CA. I was as close to you as Malibu Hills where we hiked. Darn, I wish I would have known sooner where you were located. You left me a nice message about choosing a Peruvian. I was wondering if you had any for sale. If it works out, I would love to return there in Sept. Maybe I can come see you then. Cheryl

Hello, my dear! We Nathans are here, 20 minutes from you in SY. Wanna do breakfast some time? Tomorrow would be good. Sunday? Do you still go to, what is it? Ellen's?

Barry used to ride over at your place when Leon Gitano was in training. Now he just rides the trails over here. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH HE LOVES (WE LOVE) THAT HORSE! He's the best we've had in 20 years. The perfect combination of beauty, strength, brio and good attitude.

I'm on the injured reserve due to my ankle. Don't know if my riding days are over or not. My writing days are DEFINITELY NOT over. I'm having a blast writing sci-fi and all sorts of stuff.

Lily is home, having graduated from the College of Santa Fe. She's in graduate school in Santa Barbara, working on an MA. Hopes to get a PhD. Zoe is getting ready to go back to school, working on an Master's in Fine Arts. Film and painting, most likely. They say, "We miss the Redmans," and ask about Brady & Brandy.

Did you get my e-book about the Paso foal? It's very cute. A kids' book. A bunch of people have requested it. To make it easier for me and virus free on both ends, you can download it by going to my web site and signing up for my newsletter.

I promise not to flood you with emails: I do a newsletter about twice a year. The e-book is set up there and you can download it automatically after signing in. (But––email me back if any problems.) Here's the link:

Many hugs to you, Larry, & the kids,

Hi Joy, thank you for the compliment on our new filly. I'm very happy with her and it's good to get comments from people with much more experience on this breed than myself.

I guess the breeder you refer to is Rancho de la Florecita. I think they sent semen from one of their stallions to a guy called Bill in Australia. He sent me a copy of their Promotional DVD - beautiful horses. I plan in the future to import semen myself but the trick is to find owners willing to quarantine their stalllion to meet the very strict New Zealand requirements. Also I need to have the money - very crucial to the plan ;-)

I believe we met briefly last year at the Nationals '07 Friday night dinner. I was the highest bidder on the beautiful necklace your daughter in law made. Tell her it is greatly admired every time I wear it.
I would have loved to have had enough time to visit your horses but 2 months went really fast. Hopefully I can afford to come over again sometime and see you again then.
