Our stallion's name is S.H. Burlon (A.E.V. Oro Negro X Boton de Rosa).  We love him and the rich history that is his heritage.  Yes, your mares are an extraordinary find.  I am so glad that you have them.  I love those bloodlines.  I am not surprised that Don Alfredo Elias said that his most beloved horse is Caramelo. Caramelo was magnificent. As I heard the story, Vivien Leigh handed Don Alfredo Elias a blank check for him to fill in any amount for Caramelo and he refused.  Then suitcases of money were delivered to his house and he still refused.

Thank you Patricia. I think that Centellita NRR and her half sister, Sabrina NRR (*Lindero  X AEV Serena by Sol de Oro V.) are the last granddaughters of Sol de Oro V.  They are both daughters of daughters of Sol de Oro, which is a rare find.  I am very delighted to have them both and plan to breed them soon.  I recall a conversation that I had with Don Alfredo Elias at his hacienda San Ramon, I asked him for his favorite horse and his replied was in two parts.  His favorite saddle horse had been Laurel, but his favorite and most beloved horse still is Caramelo.  So, I am very exited to have a niece of Caramelo.

What is the name of your stallion?

What a lovely, lovely mare.  We have a stallion who is the son of AEV Oro Negro, the grandson of AEV Regional and the great grandson of Sol de Oro (V).  We love the bloodlines and feel like we are in the presence of history every time we are with him.  You must feel the same.  What a beautiful mare.  I love the story of Vivien Leigh who so much wanted Caramelo that she offered anything for him.  She knew a wonderful horse!!
