You know I have been talking for years about the actha events but never really knew of many around here. I have been thinking the same about finding out the requirements and getting some events in the area...it would be alot of fun!
Cora is doing so well. Thank you so very much. Sam just loves her! They are a hoot to watch!
I can't thank you enough for helping me to lift myself out of this morass, and treat him as though it were not DSLD. I'm guardedly hopeful. And thank you Peruvian World for giving me a community that understands this agony.
I am so behind in many things... sending thank you's might be one of them. I received the retrancas! If I forgot to send thanks ...shame on me! Normally I do that instantaneously when thanks should be applied. But I am afraid I have possibly become scatterbrained in the insanity of my life! I now have this huge mountain of tack in my livingroom that needs cleaning, mending, moving or using! It is growing and my new tackroom is delayed due to bad weather... Will spring ever arrive so I can see finally what it will be like to have a special place all horse people dream of? Hope the business of your life is not as crazy! But crazy is often good in an odd sort of way! ;)
Hi Michele! Thanks for the heads up on the retrancas!! Awe, you did not have to clean them! They certainly could not have been as nasty as that one I just got on ebay.....check this out.. Cant wait to get the whole ensamble completed and on the horse.. guess I will have more pix to come! Thanks for your encouragement and advice and all!
aHAHAH!! Medival Times sounds like a great time. I have never been there but had a friend that used to to ride. She was my best buddy with the Paso Finos! Unfortunately Elaine passed away, but she left me bits and pieces of her old costumes! What a great lady, but anyway, all I can say is keep me posted on events.. I cant gaurantee this year as we are soo very busy, but never know! I think it would be a fun time and if we are able, I am sure it would be a blast! Thanks for letting me know of its possible coming! There is a big problem with our getting away as a reliable horse sitter is difficult to find in these parts and of course depends too on how long the day. Day affairs, short trips we can sometimes do. Hers a pic of Elaine! Oh how I miss her, but this was good times!
Hi Michele- I think the mirror is neat. Your friend can use any of the pictures that I have posted on Peruvian Horse World with my permission. But the last one that I posted of El Morro and I was taken in New Mexico by a photographer. Here is his email, firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to see the mirror!
Well, girl, you are gonna have to get some saddle time 2 weeks is lke well, too long! I hope to ride again today, I am so enjoying the fall weather and teh new mare. We got it together last nite and I had an awesome ride with her finally finding my balance points with her and her with me. I have some riding issues due to an accident years and well, much like your testimony to the gaiteds, you and I have a lot in common.. although my injuries might not be as severe as yours.. but all the same.. we ride altogether differently than wahan we used to be whole. Perhaps when I get some winter writing time I will post my story in my profile for you to see. There are several things with me right now, between the horses, cattle, and our gardening.. those are my passions and when I am taking the breaks between I am a writer of sorts! So today, its saddle time! As for camping.. im my younger days I would travel alot with the horses and camp and trail ride, do the shows, endurance ride and oh my the activities, but now I am pretty satisfied to ride my acreage and enjoy the critters and teh wild life here at home. Its been a long time since I ht the trails hauling a horse down the road! Neither my hubs or I sleep well on the ground... its an age and aurther thing!
