Hi Debbie, many thanks for your comment on our pictures. Yes Tambopampa is a combined word we invented. At Inca epoch, "Tambo" was the quechua name used for the houses or space constructed on all the roads, to permit to the Inca and Inca troops to have a space for sleep, eat, etc. "Pampa" is the name for "plain" like there is a lot of in south coastal desert. So we combined the two, the first one for our hospitality, our camps in the desert during the rides, the second one for the landscape of the desert and the first territory of Paso horses.
Bests ! Vanessa

Hi Debbie!
Glad you messaged! It has been a while. Time seems to fly nowadays! I am having a garden again this year so my kitchen is full of seedlings! Some of my tomato plants are going to start flowering pretty soon so the weather needs to cooperate so I can get them in the ground!
I will try to post pics of the new filly today! Our next foal is due first of July but this particular mare has been having her babies 3 weeks early the last two years & she LOOKS like she is going to do the same again! She is all bagged up and huge!
We took Oro over to Rita's today so he is back on the other side of the state again to breed some mares over there. I am planning on being at the trail ride on June 5&6, but think I work the 13th...can't remember off the top of my head. Are you coming to the trail ride? The girls want to ride too so we will all be there! I am so excited that Holly is finally getting into horses too! She still loves her kitty Nala the best though & Nala had three kittens last night so Holly is super happy today!
I am so glad you are enjoying Rico!! It would be great to ride together! If you ever get over to this area you'll have to be sure to stop in!
Talk to you soon!
Oh, Say hi to Pat for me too! Hope she is having fun with her mare!

Hi Debbie!
Hope the turkey turned out well! :-) I am sooo glad to hear Rico is doing so well! Julio would love to ride him now that he's his normal self again! He is such a special horse! After everthing he went through and he still gave it his all when asked...that is the true brio and what endears this breed to me even more! How is the old man, Obelisco, doing?Hope all is well!
I will look forward to having you come for a visit in the spring!
Talk to you later!

Hi Debbie!
Thanks for the nice comments on our horses! I am very proud of them too. There's no denying Julio knows what he's doing!
I was riding Oro again today! He is sooo smooth! Julio even took some pic of us and boy can that horse reach and extend and all so naturally...I have only been riding him a few times now. I can't wait to see how he can perform when Julio starts really working him! He is a handful but fun too! I just love his brio! He just never quits for me! He takes a strong rider right now but we think he will be an awesome ride for anyone once he gets some miles on him.
Are you planning on coming up for the holidays at all? I would LOVE to have you over!! I am off work again for the winter...boy, business is slow around here! How are things down there? But it will be nice to not have to drive in the snow this winter!! And Julio is home now too so I can help him with all kinds of projects!! And probably drive him crazy ;-) LOL!
Hope you have a great weekend! Talk to you later!

Miss hanging out with you & Pat. I want to visit Karen & Bill sometime soon in Edgerton. Maybe we can meet somewhere in between. Went trail riding 3 days this week. What fun! Will have to stay close to the barn when, "the big hunt" starts next week. I sent in my paperwork for the Exchange Student Program. Hope to find a girl that loves horses & we can share ours with her. Have a great weekend!

Yes, I love my new saddle but I havent used it yet. I wanted to use it in a parade but we decided not to ride in the Veteran's day parade tomorrow. We have a conflict. I'm going to ride in the Christmas parade at the beginning of December though. I sure dont envy your cold weather. I'm a fair weather person myself. Yep, maybe we can visit again at the Nationals. You have a couple of cute horses yourself. I love the Christmas outfit. Take care till next time. Debbie Cantello

Hi Debbie!
I didn't make the weekend ride injured horse (she's fine now, just needed some extra TLC) but Julio said they had a great turnout and people had a fabulous time! Julio would be more than happy to help you out, whatever you need, just let him know!!!
Take care and keep in touch!

Hi Debbie - I enjoyed meeting you at Nationals. Sorry your initial welcome from Texans was not good - I hope we made up for it. Your horses photos are great. Rico is a cutie and your captions are very creative. This is DD-Arboleda aka Abby - She is out of a mare that Julio used to own and Cayetano. I need to post some more photos, soon. I wish we could get together and ride - ya'll will just have to come back to Texas.

Hi Debbie,
It was nice meeting you also. I don't know if I will be on the ride Sunday. The Dr. advised to give the horses a break after the adjustment. I may take the boys (my kids) out around at home instead. My youngest wants to learn how to drive Lego, and my oldest will ride Raja. Hopefully all will go well. I am glad that the boys are showing interest in the horses. I will try and get some nice photos out soon. TTYL, Jackie

Hi Debbie - it was great meeting you at the show and chatting -- wish we'd had more time! Come visit us in Mexico -- once we're there, probably by the end of next year.

Hi Debbie
Ahh, all good things come to an end but it is kind of nice to be back at work. Can't believe I said that. Anyway, I sent you the link for Rico's photos and will send the mama and baby separate since I didn't have it in that album already. I am glad to hear Rico is doing well and that you are going to meet your goal of getting to the trails yet this fall! Talk soon, Tamra
